I have been on the Interwebs for a while now. Decentralized and Open things are the way to go, i think.
For Blogging and other micro Services we have some great applications around. But for Video Content i still have not found somthing that fits my needs and interests.
There is dTube, I personally have not really found a lot of channels i could watch. Then we have Theat for Streaming, I am not sure about this one but i use it over Twitch!
And last a decentralized one Lbry! I really like the basic idea. The have a youtube syncing feature which is great and necessary.
Sadly i use YT still a lot, just because i know that it is the biggest rewenue for most channels i watch, even if they use one of the platforms above. For those people: **I wach a lot of your content over on all platforms you use. **
I hope that this way the community on the more open platform grows and in the end the insentives for those content creators is high enough to leave YT.
